Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Health Safety & QA Officer collaborates and partners with Project Managers to develop and implement Health and Safety systems and strategies that enables a positive safety culture to keep our people safe, healthy and well.The role is responsible for performing the delivery of diverse and contemporary safety & QA approaches and practices within the Commercial business segment, at various locations.This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving work environment, and you will be promoting and supporting a strong health and safety culture across our workforce.Key responsibilities: Perform site safety inspections, hazard identifications and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions across all sitesSupport compliance with legislation, MAAS policies and standards and the safety management system, including direct responsibility for Skytrust & or other Software reporting to GroupInvestigate injuries and incidents and provide corrective action recommendationsMaintain and review safety documentation and systems, including development of SWMSReport on health and safety awareness, issues, and statisticsAssist with new employee inductions and training, including educating the workforce on their rights and obligations under relevant safety legislationAssist with internal audits and support action plansMaintain and update current company corporate procedures to be in alignment with new process and management systemsComplete company internal corporate audits. Health Safety & Quality Assurance Coordinator
